WHAT IS IMMUNOTHERAPY?

Immunotherapy (IT) is a series of injections of customized allergy extracts administered over a period of years in order to suppress the body’s reaction to a specific allergen. IT has been proven to reduce pharmacy, outpatient and health care costs, while decreasing the development of new sensitivities and reducing the progression of asthma in children.
